Public v Private sector differential...

What would you say the differential is between an interim assignment in the public sector over private sector?
And why do you think public sector specialists command a premium?

I had this exact conversation with a recruitment agent last week and I reckon that an interim assignment in the public sector will pay c10-20% more than a similar role in the private sector...I'd say it's because there are not too many interim professionals with experience of OJEU...
